Once in possession of adamant, visit the Durin forge within the game to craft or upgrade weapons with this formidable material. How to Defeat the WATCHER in the WATER (LOTR: Return to Moria)

This is probably the second hardest boss in the Return to Moria game… the hardest being the Balrog, but you have to unlock it first. But Watcher can be annoying especially if you don’t know fight mechanics.

Ah, the infamous Watcher of the Water—more tentacles than a sea monster and a disposition as friendly as an angry Balrog. Defeating this slippery adversary requires strategy, timing, and a little bit of luck. Brace yourself for the battle of a lifetime!

1. Gear Up! Before diving into battle (pun intended), ensure you’re geared up with the best weapons, armor, and potions. You’ll need all the advantages you can get against this watery behemoth.

2. Scout the Battlefield Take a good look at the battleground. The Watcher of the Water likes to surprise its adversaries from the depths. Keep an eye on the ripples and disturbances in the water—it’s a dead giveaway for its next attack.

3. Timing is Key Patience, young hobbit dwarf! Timing your attacks and dodges is crucial. The Watcher has a predictable pattern—wait for the right moment to strike. Dodge its tentacle slams and counterattack when it’s vulnerable.

4. Teamwork Makes the Dream Work Coordinate with your fellow players if you’re in a group. Assign roles (like DPS/Tank/Heal classes) and communicate effectively. It’s not a tea party—more like a battle orchestra where every move counts.

5. Exploit Weaknesses Like any good boss, the Watcher of the Water has its weaknesses. Identify and exploit them! Aim for the vulnerable spots when they’re exposed, and don’t hesitate to unleash your most powerful attacks at those moments.
